Welcome Concert to the newly arrived Ambassadors
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Societatea Muzicala organised remotely the Welcome Concert that we offer to the newly arrived Ambassadors: Maria Laura da Rocha (Brazil), Rahul Shrivastava (India), Stefan Tomašević (Serbia), Zafar Iqbal (Pakistan) and Maciej Lang (Poland), at the beginning of their mandates in Romania.
The recital took place Wednesday, 28th of October at 5 p.m. Given the exceptional circumstances, only the honored Ambassadors participated in 3D, all the other guests followed the concert from their armchairs live on the Facebook page of Societatea Muzicala, or later on our website archives.
We took this opportunity to present our new concert and social hub in 46, Aleea Alexandru, where Vienna Style, our life-long partners, recently moved their art gallery, our Bösendorfer piano included.

Young graduate of the National University of Music, Nina is a soloist at the Comic Opera House for Children in Bucharest, with roles in The Magic Flute, The Sound of Music and King’s Daughter. Other roles: “La Sphinge” (National Opera Bucharest), Dido, in Purcell’s masterpiece “Dido & Aeneas” (Iasi Athenaeum) and Olga, in “Eugene Onegin” (National University of Music).

Marina Melaranci is an Italian-Brazilian mezzo- soprano. She graduated with a Bachelor and Masters degrees in Music and Musicology at the Sorbonne University Paris IV in 2015. In 2019, she also completed her Masters degree in opera performance at the Ottorino Respighi Conservatory in Italy with the maximum score and Honors from the Jury. In 2019, Marina had the opportunity to perfect herself with the pianist of the great soprano Eva Marton, Gabriella Gyoker, at the Liszt Academy in Budapest. Marina Melaranci sang in several notable places in Europe such as the Oratoire du Louvre in Paris with the Camerata Saint- Louis, the Theater Marcello and the Sala Baldini in Rome, the Palais Royale in Brussels, the UNESCO Theater in Paris and the Roman Athenaeum in Bucharest.
Adina Cocargeanu was born in 1985 in Constanta (Romania). She started studying piano at the age of 7 at the Music School in her home town and continued them at George Enescu Music Highschool. She has a degree in piano performance and she is a master repetitieur at the National Operetta and Musical Theatre Bucharest since 2007. She performed as a soloist and repetiteur in Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Finland, Netherlands, United States of America, Japan, Austria, Germany. She received the title of Honorary Citizen of Constanta for her professional activity.
