Welcome Concert in honor of HE Issam T. H. MASALHA, Ambassador of Palestine and HE Victor Chirilă, Ambassador of Moldova.
The concert took place on Saturday, 2nd of July at 11 am at The Swedish Embassy, 43, Kiseleff Bvd. in Bucharest.

Ana and Marius Boldea are PhD students and graduates of bachelor and master’s degree studies at the National University of Music in Bucharest, in the class of professor. dr. Manuela Giosa. They have formed a piano duo (4 hands – 2 pianos) since 2014. They are finalists in the Suzana Szörenyi International Duo Competition and winners of the International Pro Piano Competition, in the 4-hand category in 2015. They have a rich concert activity, performing recitals of piano duo both in Bucharest and in other cities of the country, such as Sighișoara, Timișoara, Bușteni, Brașov, Constanța (within the Tomisul etern festival). They participated in duo masterclasses with pianists Octavian Renea, Caterina Vivarelli and Josu de Solaun. They are permanent collaborators of the Friedrich Schiller House of Culture in Bucharest, where they support monthly artistic moments of piano duo. They made their debut at the Romanian Athenaeum in November 2017 performing the full Hungarian Dances by J. Brahms for 4 hands. In April 2018, in Brașov, they give a piano duo recital at the Brassovia Chamber Music Festival and perform at the Chei Festival, a festival organized by the National University of Music in Bucharest. In May and June 2018, they won two I¸ prizes in the 4-hand piano category, at the Sabin Pautza – Reșița and Pro Piano – Bucharest International Competitions. In August, the duo is part of the „Connect Arts” project and makes a recording on Radio Romania. In November, the duo won the first prize at the National Competition „Eduard Caudella” – Chamber Music section – held in Iasi. In March 2019, the duo won the second prize at the Mihail Jora National Contest, held in Bucharest. In May, the duo performs F. Poulenc’s Concerto in D minor for two pianos and orchestra at UNMB with the orchestra Universitaria under the baton of Alexandru Ganea. In May and June, the duo performs three times on the Big Stage of the Romanian Athenaeum, once on the small stage, as well as at the Swiss Embassy and the Cotroceni Museum. In September, the duo participates in the International Contest „Humanitarian” held in Milan. Also from September, the two pianists are teachers at two of the Gymnasium Schools of Arts in Bucharest. In November, they give a recital at the Romanian Athenaeum on the occasion of the launch of a new issue of Memoria Magazine. On December 1, they give a recital dedicated to the national day at the House of Culture in Rădăuți, through the Klavier Art project founded by the piano duo formed by Corina Răducanu and Eugen Dumitrescu, whith young Romanian pianists of international stature such as Daria Tudor and Florian Mitrea. In February 2020, they give a recital at the Romanian Athenaeum, performing only Romanian music (G. Enescu, C. Silvestri, D. Dediu, L. Klepper, D. Constantinescu) and performing the first audition of the Sonatina by Dan Constantinescu. In March, they are awarded with the first prize as well as the Grand Prize at the „Ada Ulubeanu” National Contest. In January 2021, they won second prize at the Odin International Competition (Dublin, Ireland) as well as a special prize – a recital in Denmark.
Marina Melaranci is an Italian-Brazilian mezzo- soprano. She graduated with a Bachelor and Masters degrees in Music and Musicology at the Sorbonne University Paris IV in 2015. In 2019, she also completed her Masters degree in opera performance at the Ottorino Respighi Conservatory in Italy with the maximum score and Honors from the Jury. In 2019, Marina had the opportunity to perfect herself with the pianist of the great soprano Eva Marton, Gabriella Gyoker, at the Liszt Academy in Budapest. Marina Melaranci sang in several notable places in Europe such as the Oratoire du Louvre in Paris with the Camerata Saint- Louis, the Theater Marcello and the Sala Baldini in Rome, the Palais Royale in Brussels, the UNESCO Theater in Paris and the Roman Athenaeum in Bucharest.
Adina Cocargeanu was born in 1985 in Constanta (Romania). She started studying piano at the age of 7 at the Music School in her home town and continued them at George Enescu Music Highschool. She has a degree in piano performance and she is a master repetitieur at the National Operetta and Musical Theatre Bucharest since 2007. She performed as a soloist and repetiteur in Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Finland, Netherlands, United States of America, Japan, Austria, Germany. She received the title of Honorary Citizen of Constanta for her professional activity.
