Ilse, Thomas, Derek and Patricia
A concert to bid farewell to our dear friends Derek Feely and Patricia Brady, and Thomas Baekelandt and Ilse Luyten, who will leave Bucharest by the and of August, given the completion their distinctive ambassadorial offices in Romania.
The recital will take place on Saturday, 10th of August at 11:30 at our new WTC concert hall and with our newly inaugurated (after partial restoration) Bosendorfer piano. Please note that we’ll use our neoBohema Art & Social Lab in Palatul Universul alternatively for our concerts and gatherings, with our first old piano there.

Young graduate of the National University of Music, Nina is a soloist at the Comic Opera House for Children in Bucharest, with roles in The Magic Flute, The Sound of Music and King’s Daughter. Other roles: “La Sphinge” (National Opera Bucharest), Dido, in Purcell’s masterpiece “Dido & Aeneas” (Iasi Athenaeum) and Olga, in “Eugene Onegin” (National University of Music).

Daiana Ishak is a 23 years old soprano. She has studied classical canto at the National College of Arts “Dinu Lipatti” and in 2019 was admitted to the National University of Music Bucharest.
She has the honor to sing with the Romanian Royal Choir on the 31st of May to the Liturgy Pope Francisc held in Bucharest at the St. Joseph Cathedral; also, they were performing in “The Union Capitals” tour in Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria and Romania. In the senior year she has been singing in Solemnis choir and participated in choral tours in Germany and Austria.
Daiana Ishak has won many prizes: the most important of them are the 1st place at the National Olympics of Music – classical canto section in 2014 and 2015, 1st place at “Matei Bucur Mihaescu” contest, organized by Dan Voiculescu’s foundation in 2013 and 1st place at “Miniatura Romantica” International Contest in 2013 and 2014.
After winning the 1st place in the National Olympics of Music, she has been invited to sing in the “Olympics Gala” at the Romanian Atheneum. She also participated to 3 masterclasses held by one of our biggest sopranos, Marina Krilovici, which took place at the National Opera in Bucharest.
Currently, she is soprano at the Romanian Royal Choir – Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Radu of Romania and at the St. Joseph Cathedral choir.
Born in Romania, in a family of musicians, she starts studying piano at the age of 6 and makes her debut in the artistic life with recitals and concerts accompanied by the Philarmonic Orchestras of Timişoara and Bacău. She participated in various musical competitions in Romania, being awarded, throughout her evolution, numerous prizes among which: Paul Constantinescu – Ploiesti , J.S. Bach – Cluj, Marţian Negrea – Ploieşti, Romantic Miniature – Galaţi, Mozart – Târgovişte , George Georgescu- Tulcea, Festivalul şi Mozart Festival and Competition – Cluj, 2nd Prize at the National Competition of Romanian Lied – Braşov, the Steliana Calos award, within the Ionel Perlea National Lied Festival and Interpretation Competition Slobozia where the next year wins the Trophy, the 2nd prize at the International Singing Competition Sabin Drăgoi, Timișoara, Romania. She has a bachelor’s degree in musical interpretation – piano, a master degree diploma in vocal art (Professor PhD Eleonora Enăchescu’s class) and a second master degree diploma in interpretation in vocal art at Haute Ecole de Musique Genève.
She speaks fluently italian, english and french. Stanca-Maria Manoleanu performed in a number of recitals and concerts in Bucharest, and throughout Romania in renown venues as Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Grand Thèâtre de Genève, Accademia di Romania in Rome, Romanian Atheneum, aswell as in all most important stages in Romania. In the past years she performed in various Contemporary Music Festivals as Intrada and Meridian and also participated in numerous contemporary music projects and recitals.
She attended master classes conducted by lyric art great personalities, among which: Renato Bruson, Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Barbara Hendricks, Claudio Desderi and she was also guided by the great romanian sopranos Nelly Miricioiu and Leontina Văduva.
She makes her debut on the stage of the Bucharest National Opera House in 2012, by interpreting the role Donna Anna in W.A. Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni. Her next most important performed roles are: Soprano – The Life after Osho by George Balint, Gwendoline – Gwendoline – E. Chabrier (Neuchatel), Fiordiligi – Così fan tutte – W. A. Mozart (Genève), Suor Angelica – Suor Angelica – G. Puccini (National Bucharest Opera House) having also in her repertoire the roles: Julia – Romeo un Julia – Heinrich Sutermeister, Mimi – La Bohème – G. Puccini, Manon – Manon – J. Massenet, Gwendoline – Gwendoline – E. Chabrier, Micaëla – Carmen – G. Bizet, Giulietta – I Montecchi e I Capuleti – V. Bellini, Adina – L’elisir d’amore – G. Donizetti, Pamina – The Magic Flute – W.A. Mozart, Donna Elvira, Zerlina – Don Giovanni – W. A. Mozart, Susanna – Le Nozze di Figaro – W. A. Mozart, Servilia – La clemenza di Tito – W. A. Mozart, Ottavia – L’Incoronazione di Popeea – Cl. Monteverdi.
She is currently a member of the National Bucharest Opera House.
Abel – Edison Corban was born in Bacau (Romania) and began piano lessons at the age of 6. In 2015 he graduated with the highest honors from the National University of Music in Bucharest, the piano class of Professor Viniciu Moroianu and Verona Maier (chamber music). He also participated in masterclasses with Dimitri Bashkirov, Martin Huges, Gabriel Amiras and benefited from the advice and guidance of Romanian .
Abel won the Liszt/Bartok International Piano Competition (Sofia 2015), Yamaha Pianos Europe (Public and Jurry Prize – UK 2013), Tribut al valorilor culturale romanesti – Sergiu Celibidache Foundation, Mihail Jora, Lionnes International Piano Competition (Timisoara 2013) and was a laureate of Jeunesses Musicales International Piano Competition in 2011.
He has since played as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Romania, Egypt, Monaco, France, Greece, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
