Romanian-American composer and violinist Lucian Manea works full time at ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) as a music analyst/editor/musicologist in New York. Lucian speaks some Romanian too, but is not fluent („Vorbesc Romana cu limite”).
Lucian Manea was born in Bucharest and with his parents moved to USA when he was 10 years old, while at age 8 he started learning violin.
Lucian Manea attended some well known music schools in New York, Mannes and Manhattan School of Music until the second year of College in Manhattan School of Music.
