Cristina Iordachescu Iordache was born the 8th of October 1966 in Bucharest, Romania, daughter of the great Romanian baritone Dan Iordachescu and is the sister of Irina Iordachescu.

She graduated from the of the Bucharest University of Music in 1990, at the class of Professor Arta Florescu.

Cristina Iordachescu Iordache was a laureate in the International Singing Competition ‘Madame Buttterfly’ – 1990 Miami, USA; a guest in the Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago – Viareggio, Italy, 1990; Cristina Iordachescu Iordache had tours of concerts in the Philippines – Manila; Italy – Salerno; Germany – Bonn, Bremen, Mulheim, Siegburg, Neuwied, Bad Pyrmont, Brilon; Luxembourg – Mozart Requiem with the Orchestra ‘L’Estro Armonico’ and the ‘Vox’ Choir; tours of concerts as a pianist, as well, accompanying her father, the great Romanian baritone Dan Iordachescu, in the USA, Canada and Italy, as well as in Romania (on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest and the Opera in Iasi).

Cristina Iordachescu Iordache was a soloist of the Romanian National Opera in 1993-1994.

Cristina Iordachescu Iordache gave also concerts on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum (together with The George Enescu National Orchestra and Choir), The Radio Hall (together with The National Radio Orchestra and Choir), The Romanian Opera, The George Enescu National Museum, The French Institute of Culture, The Cotroceni Museum, The Auditorium Hall, The Academy of Music, The Dalles Hall, The Festival of Chamber Music in Brasov, The Opera of Timisoara, The Philarmonic Hall in Craiova (together with the Craiova Philarmonic Orchestra and Choir), Satu Mare, Constanta. Has performed under the musical direction of prestigious conductors such as Cyril Diederich, Dafydd Bullock, Milen Nachev, Nicolas Astrinidis, Iosif Conta, Gheorghe Costin, Tiberiu Soare, Iosif Prunner.

Since 2013 Cristina Iordache has been an Associate Professor at the Hyperion University of Bucharest, teaching voice and musical interpretation.
