Alexandru Lazar (Alexandru Ioan Lazar, cu numele intreg) a inceput studiul pianului la varsta de 7 ani la Liceul de Muzica S. Toduta din Deva la clasa doamnei profesoare Doina Ona. Pe parcursul anilor, Alexandru Lazar a participat la numeroase concursuri nationale si internationale printre care amintim: Premiul I la Concursul International Maryse Cheillan din Hyere, Franta; Premiul I la Concursul International de pian Giovanni Talenti, Italia; Marele Premiu la Concursul Euroregional Orpheu din Targu Jiu; Premiul „J.S Bach” in cadrul concursului international Dinu Lipatti din Bucuresti. De asemenea, Alexandru Lazar a participat in masterclass-uri cu pianisti precum Daniel Goiti, Eduard Kunz si Norma Fisher. In prezent Alexandru Lazar este student la Royal College of Music din Londra la clasa doamnei profesoare Norma Fisher.
Alexandru Lazar was born in 1993. He started his musical training in Deva, Romania at the age of 7. Over the years, Alexandru Lazar has participated in numerous national and international competitions. Some of Alexandru Lazar’s most important prizes are: First Prize and Gold medal in the Maryse Cheillan Piano Competition in Hyere, France; First Prize in the Giovanni Talenti International Piano Competition in San Bartolomeo al Mare, Italy: First and Grand Prize in the Orpgeus Euro Regional Piano Competition in Targu Jiu, Romania and finally, the J. S. Bach Prize in the Dinu Lipatti International Piano Competition in Romania.
Alexandru Lazar has taken part in masterclasses with teachers and pianists such as Daniel Goiti, Matei Varga, Eduard Kunz and Norma Fisher. Currently, Alexandru Lazar is studying at the Royal College of Music in London with Prof. Norma Fisher, working towards finishing his degree.
